Of Corset's Your Birthday! Card

Hello Sin City Stamp fans, and welcome back to the blog.  I am so glad you stopped by today, because I want to remind you that the Clowning Around With Sin City Stamps Blog Hop is Saturday, 8 June.  There will be a giveaway from each of the design team's blogs, and tons of inspiration.  I hope you will join us for some fun!

Okay, so my first post for June is going to be a fairly easy card, but I know you are going to love it.  It is simply a pocket card, and here is the finished photo.

Supplies Used:
Sin City Stamps Steampunk Circus plate (Happy Birthday)
Sin City Stamps Dressforms plate
Authentique 6x6 paper pad - Cherish Collection (Cherish A, Cherish C, Cherish F)
Fiskars Corner Rounder punch
Fiskars Decorative Corner punch
Fiskars Corner Edger scissors (Nostalgia)
Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Smokey Gray VersaFine Ink (Tsukineko)
Pink Pearl Swirls (Recollections)
Viva Decor Pearl Paint Pen
Miracle Tape 1/8" wide
Offf-White 5/8" seam binding
Pocket front = 4" x 3-3/4"
Pocket back = 4" x 2"
Flap border trim = 4-1/4" x 5/8"

Directions:
Trim tan CS to 4-1/4" x 11", score at 5-1/2" and 1-1/2" from one side.

Fold card in half at 5-1/2" score, then fold 1-1/2" score towards front, creating a flap.  Punch all corners
with a corner rounder punch. I chose to use a decorative corner punch on the flap, as shown.
Trim 6"x6" print paper, as shown.
Round top corners, ink edges, and glue Pocket Back piece to tan CS, as shown.  Add 1/8" wide Miracle Tape to the inside edges on pocket front, as shown, and close to form the pocket.
Stamp crochet lace with Vintage Photo along right side of Pocket Front piece, ink edges, and glue to tan CS, as shown.
Stamp crochet lace along bottom edge of Front Flap, and ink edges.  (NOTE: Place a piece of scrap paper beneath the flap to protect your pocket front while stamping. )

Trim rose border from Cherish C paper and adhere to top of flap.  Use Miracle Tape to adhere flap down.

Stamp whole mannequin image onto cream side (Cherish C) with Vintage Photo, cut out.  Stamp partial mannequin image onto pink side (Cherish A) with Smokey Gray, cut out corset only.  Adhere over cream mannequin corset image.

Make a tag by trimming pink print (Cherish D) paper to 4-3/4" x 3-3/4".  Cut top corners with Nostalgia corner edger scissors.  Ink edges and stamp crochet lace along bottom with Vintage Photo.  Computer generate phrase "Of Corset's Your Birthday!" onto tag.  Punch hole in center top of tag, insert. Ink  ribbon with Vintage Photo and insert through tag hole and tie knot.
Curve Happy Birthday stamp image and stamp onto reverse of tag using Vintage Photo.  Stamp towards the top so you have room to write a personal message to your recipient.
Use Lacey Ovals die to cut oval from tan (Cherish F) paper.  Leave die on paper and ink inside of oval with Vintage Photo.  Adhere mannequin to oval, and use foam dots to adhere oval to card front, as shown.  I added some pearl bling, tiny flowers, and Viva Decor pearl paint pen.

I hope you enjoyed my pocket card project today, and be sure to visit Sin City Stamps online store
to see all of their fabulous stamps and products.  And don't forget our design team blog hop tomorrow.  Hope you can join in on the fun with us.

Have a wonderful weekend!
