Tri-Fold Shutter Card with Scor-Pal

Oh my goodness, I can hardly believe it is December already, and that Christmas is just around the corner. I saw this challenge over at the Scor-Pal blog and remembered that I had made this tri-fold shutter card last winter, wishing and hoping for Spring. Well, even though it is not a Christmas or Winter card, it does fit in with their category of ...

"More Than One Score" #11 - Anything Goes with Your Scor-Pal (and More Than One Score)

For my project, I made this tri-fold shutter card using My Mind's Eye 6x6 "Rosy" paper pad. The base card, of course, was a solid beige colored card stock that was scored using my Scor-Pal. I used a variety of punches and dies to make most of the embellishments, however, the buttons are from Graphic 45. I also used distress inks to add color and shading to all pieces of cardstock. It seems to frame each piece and make them stand out a bit more. Can you find the cute little frog on the card?

Here is a view of the card from above!

Supplies:

Scor-Pal
My Mind's Eye 6x6 Rosy paper pad
Beige card stock
Various paper punches and dies
Graphic 45 Staples buttons
Distress Inks

I hope I have inspired you to look for all the different types of folded cards and home decor projects online to use your Scor-Pal and make something fabulous!

Thanks for stopping by.
