Wall Hanging with Altered Pages and Rubber Stamp Depot

Hello all!  Hope your week is off to a good start.  This month, we are featuring some really fabulous rubber stamps from Rubber Stamp Depot and combining them with the awesome products from Altered Pages.

I made this cute 6"x6" wall hanging to use as a display piece or to give as a gift.  Enamorado means "In Love", and when I look at this, I see two loving friends or  sisters, reading books to each other.  Wouldn't this make a wonderful gift to a sister or girl friend.

Cut a piece of black mat board and a piece of Olé Burrito paper to 6" x 6" square.  Distress the edges and ink them with the Leather Mix'd Media ink pad.

Ink Sister Secrets rubber stamp with the Black Stazon Midi ink pad and stamp directly onto an ATC sized piece of Eco board.

Use peach and pink colored Gelatos with a water brush to color the girls' skin.

Use yellow and ochre colored Gelatos with a water brush to color their hair.

Use blue and pink colored Gelatos with a water brush to color the girls' dresses.

Use brown and black colored Gelatos with a water brush to color the bench, and green to color the girls' books.

Use pastel pink and pastel green colored Gelatos with a water brush to color the background.

Use black colored Gelato to edge the eco board and blend out with your finger.

Use Ochre colored Gelato  to add a golden glow to the background to make it match the Enamored label.

Cut a piece of the Adhesive Corrugated card stock slightly larger than the Enamorado label and edge with the Schoolhouse Red Mix'd Media ink pad.

Adhere the label to the corrugated card and adhere the two pieces to the top of the mat board.  Leave room at the top to punch two holes and attach eyelets.  Glue the stamped eco board piece below that, as shown.

Thread a length of Sari Silk Ribbon through the holes for hanging.

Cut a large pink flower in half and glue to either side of the eco board.  Glue a smaller blue flower in fourths and glue to the pink flower, as shown.

Glue the yellow flower on top on each side, and add a large pearl gem to each flower center.

Fussy cut two small flower bouquets, edge with a black Big Brush Pen, and adhere to the label with foam dots.
