This picture of soldiers waiting to board a ship reminded me of a story my father told me when he and his fellow airmen were put on the Queen Mary, being sent to fight in WWII. The ship had been retrofitted to bunk the thousands of men being sent overseas, and I can only imagine what was going through their minds. Some never returned, and others wondered why they made it back at all.
Again, this is just a small tribute to our military forces, but I want to express my sincerest gratitude to each and every one of you. Thank you!
