Starting a New Year

One of the things I want to do this year is start a blog.  So, here goes.

I am getting ready to go to CHA in Anaheim, California, next week, and I wanted to post a few pictures before I go.

The picture at right is an old, metal coffee filter holder I re-decorated.  It was a kelly green enamel color, and did not go with anything in my kitchen.  So I took some really pretty paper, I think it was DCWV Old World paper, and covered the metal completely.  I used Tim Holtz's tag and bookplates die to make the label "Coffee Filters", and adorned it further with some Prima gem embellishments.  Then I, made a Donna Salazar 3D flower to place at the bottom.  I sure do like it a lot better.  Of course, just about anything would have been an improvement.

Once I get the hang of this blogging, I will post some more pictures.  In the meantime, happy New Year to all.
