Welcome to Day 16 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop. As you know by now, I am participating in this month-long blog hop with some extremely talented artists. The complete list of Wicked Bloggers (that's what we are called) are in my side bar. There are lots of prizes in the daily scavenger hunt, and a Grand Prize worth over $300.
Today I thought I would give you a break from heavy reading and do another simple journal card.
Cut olive green card stock to 3" x 5" and round corners.
Cut print paper just slightly smaller, round corners, then stamp and heat emboss owl and spider web onto paper with Versamark ink and black detail embossing powder. Edge with Peeled Paint distress ink.
Pierce hole through center of web and use tiny brad to attach clock face and small clock hands.
Place "31" plaque in center, pierce holes and attach with brads.
Adhere print paper to olive journal card. Add animal eyes to owl. Love those eyes!!!
Supplies:
Olive two tone card stock
Stampin' Up Nite Owl paper collection
Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz stamp sets: Halloween Curiosities (owl); Mini Halloween3 (spider web)
Black detail embossing powder
VersaMark ink pad
Peeled Paint distress ink pad
Tim Holtz Idea-ology number plaques
Animal Eyes stickers (Rubber Nature Art Stamps)
Paper Studio metal clock face
Prima Vintage Trinkets clock hands
Hope you enjoyed my simple journal card today. Have a great time hopping with the rest of the bloggers. Thanks for stopping by!
