Smeared and Smudged 31 Days of Halloween 2014 Blog Hop- Day 10

Welcome to Day 10 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop. As you know by now, I am participating in this month-long blog hop with some extremely talented artists.  The complete list of Wicked Bloggers (that's what we are called) are in my side bar.  There are lots of prizes in the daily scavenger hunt, and a Grand Prize worth over $300.  Be sure to visit each blog and leave a comment for a chance to win one of these fabulous prizes!!!

Well, I believe it is time to share more stuff to put into my mini album.  Click here to see my previous post.  If you've been following along, I've been making journal cards to place inside my still undecorated mini album.  Here's another one of my journal cards to add.
Cut piece of white card stock to 3"x5".  I placed this inside a box I use for spraying and lay stencil over paper.  Spritz with Canary and Bittersweet glimmer mists.
Stamp with black ink and emboss with black detail embossing powder.
Add Irresistible silver pico embellisher to the spider bellies for cool and creepy dimension.
Cut spider from Core-dinations black paper, sand and add Seedless Preserves over it.  Turn over and add thick white glue, as shown.  I put a big glob of white glue in the body for some dimension.
When you adhere it to the front, press down gently on the legs to adhere, but do not press the body at all. The glue will dry plump.  Voila, a little dimension.  I love it!  I also added a couple of tiny dots of that Lime Green Stickles for eyes.  Oooooh, really creepy!

Supplies:

Card Stock:   Yellow, White
Sizzix/Tim Holtz Movers & Shapers (Mini Spider & 31)
Memory Box Halloween Collage rubber stamp
Martha Stewart  "Eeeeeek!" rubber stamp
IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko Silver Irresistible Pico Embellisher
Ink Pads: Versamark ink pad; Seedless Preserves Distress Ink Pad
Detail Black embossing powder
Tim Holtz stencil (Shatter)
Tattered Angels Chalkboard Glimmer Mists: Canary, Bittersweet

Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy the rest of today's hop!!!
