Smeared and Smudged 31 Days of Halloween 2014 Blog Hop- Day 22

Welcome to Day 22 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop. As you know by now, I am participating in this month-long blog hop with some extremely talented artists.  The complete list of Wicked Bloggers (that's what we are called) are in my side bar.  There are lots of prizes in the daily scavenger hunt, and a Grand Prize worth over $300.

Since all of my journal cards have been made and shared with you, it is time to start sharing the mini album pages that will hold all of those journal cards.  Today, I am going to share the cover and pages 1 and 2.
FRONT COVER:

Make two sizes of rosettes from Halloween print papers and edge with Black Soot Distress ink.  Adhere to cover.

Stamp spider circle onto orange card stock with black StazOn ink.  Use black Pico Embellisher to outline spider image.  Cut with 5/8" circle punch, adhere to small rosette.  Adhere Cameo Skull to large rosette.

Stamp and heat emboss  "I would turn back if I were you" with Versamark ink and detail black embossing powder onto scrap Halloween paper.  Trim and punch corners with ticket edge punch.  Adhere to cover.

Tie black linen ribbon over cover and page 1, tying in a knot on front cover.  Use a trinket pin to attach skull charm to ribbon.

PAGE 1:

Trim MAMBI Halloween print paper to fit over page 1.  Punch a half circle using 1-1/4" circle punch, edge with Gathered Twigs and Mustard Seed distress inks.  Adhere to pages.
Page 1
Stamp SCS "Do Not Enter" onto white card stock with Gothic Purple StazOn.  Stamp SCS "Stop" in the center with Orange Zest StazOn.  Trim image, spritz lightly with water, and crinkle paper tightly, being careful not to rip it.  Lay it flat and when dry, hit the high spots with Frayed Burlap distress ink.  Attach to inside cover with orange glittered brads in each corner.
Stamp hanging spider next to "Do Not Enter" piece with Black StazOn.  Extend web from stamping to top.

Add orange print strip (left from die cutting the rosettes) over black linen ribbon.

Stamp and punch out a second spider circle and adhere to copper paper clip.  Add layer of 3D Crystal Lacquer and allow to dry before clipping to ribbon.

PAGE 2:

Lay strip of spider web washi tape vertically to page.  Stamp dripping blood (M.S. Vampire set) with Cranberry pigment ink, heat emboss with Fired Brick distress embossing powder.
Stamp vampire (M.S. Vampire set) with Versamark, heat emboss with detail black embossing powder.  Stamp coffin (M.S. Vampire set) with Versafine Vintage Sepia onto scrap tan card stock, fussy cut and adhere to page.  Stamp bird with black StazOn, and blood drops (both from theM.S. Vampire set) with Cranberry archival ink.
