Smeared and Smudged 31 Days of Halloween 2014 Blog Hop- Day 24

Welcome to Day 24 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop. As you know by now, I am participating in this month-long blog hop with some extremely talented artists.  The complete list of Wicked Bloggers (that's what we are called) are in my side bar.  There are lots of prizes in the daily scavenger hunt, and a Grand Prize worth over $300.

Since all of my journal cards have been made and shared with you, I've been sharing my mini album pages, a few at a time.  Today, I am going to share pages 5, 6, and back cover.

Stamp and heat emboss "Jeepers Creepers" with Versamark and Amethyst embossing powder.  I had one pumpkin left over from my previous post where I made a few of them.  You can see the process by clicking here.  I cut the black frame using my Silhouette and adhered it to the Altered Pages collage image.  A few tiny spiders were stamped here and there for a creepy effect.

Trim MAMBI Halloween print paper to fit over page 1.  Punch a half circle using 1-1/4" circle punch, edge with Gathered Twigs and Mustard Seed distress inks.  Adhere to pages.

Page 6

Stamp mummy (Stampendous) image directly onto page with black StazOn ink.  Color with white and black charcoal pencils, and the pumpkin with an orange pastel pencil.  Stamp hanging spider (M.S. Vampire set) to the right of the mummy, and add a Halloween sticker (Recollections).

Stamp skull mini blueprint onto white card stock with Black Soot distress ink.  Use a Water Brush to pull color into the image for shading.  Fussy cut image and adhere to back cover.

Back Cover (outside)
Stamp and heat emboss "Nice Knowing You" (M.S. Spooky Phrases) onto scrap Halloween paper with Versamark and black embossing powder.  Trim and layer onto green print, then black card stock, pop dotting the first layer.

Adhere skull and three metal studs, as shown.
